Dear Buckman Parents,
The M.U.S.E. Program is starting up a string program at Buckman. If we can get enough students, the program would start on Monday, October 13. We will have an open house for any parents who would like to come by and meet the instructor and get more information on Monday, October 6, right after school at 3:00pm.
We understand students are busy with many choices for after school activities. However, we are hoping that you might take a minute to talk to your child and discuss the possibility of taking up an instrument. We offer violin, viola, and cello for grades 3-5. These classes are offered by M.U.S.E. (Musical Understanding through Sound Education) at the cost of $48 per month. There is some financial assistance available though Buckman. You would need to see Diane, the SUN Site manager.
Classes for beginning strings are on Mondays from 3:30-4:30. If you are interested, it is urgent that you get a hold of us as soon as possible. You can register by either filling out the registration forms we sent home or by going online to our website at www.museband.com and register there.
