After a rocky return to school in 2017 (WHOA SNOW), it seems January is drawing to a close rather quickly. Given that February is just around the corner, a few things to note about what’s on the horizon:
– The February PTA meeting is set for February 7 at Buckman; childcare provided. Stop by and learn what kinds of things the PTA has planned for the rest of the year.
– Our next Buckman Dines Out will be coupled with a Foundation Pub Night at EastBurn on February 15, 6-9pm. Head out and show your support of Buckman by having a night out with the family, or swing by the Foundation table (look for the sign) to learn about ways to volunteer. This is the time of year when fundraising efforts really pick up, with the Art Show & Sell coming up first (March 11-12) and the Buckman Auction right on its heels (May 13).
– Neighborhood families have their Connect to Kindergarten meeting set for February 21, with lottery families scheduled in March. This is an important event for incoming kinders!
